“The heliocentric
theory, by putting the sun at the centre of the universe ... made man
appear to be just one of a possible host of wanderers drifting
through a cold sky. It seemed less likely that he was born to live
gloriously and to attain paradise upon his death. Less likely, too,
was it that he was the object of God‟s ministrations." -Morris
Kline
“The Genesis creation
story provides the first key to the Hebrew cosmology. The order of
creation makes no sense from a conventional perspective but is
perfectly logical from a flat-earth viewpoint. The earth was created
on the first day, and it was „without form and void (Genesis 1:2).‟
On the second day, a vault the „firmament‟ of the King James
version was created to divide the waters, some being above and some
below the vault. Only on the fourth day were the sun, moon, and stars
created, and they were placed „in‟ (not „above‟) the vault.”
-Robert Schadewald, “The Flat Earth Bible”
Comment:
When you read the words
of the Bible carefully about the celestial lights – they were
created for the earth, then you'll understand that we are the only
ones in the universe. Otherwise, why the creation of the earth first?
Christians who believe that the “days” of God are like billions
of years are wrong. If we were must one of billions, earth would not
have been created first, the stars would not “serve” us but be
suns for the billions of other planets. Thus, the universe, as we
were taught to believe, does not have to exist in order for us to be
here. In fact – the universe with is supposedly billions or
trillions of starts and planets are not “out there,” but are
simply points of light in the firmament. Though special points of
light with a purpose of being, they are lights none-the-less.
